Desktop Heater

what can survive in a desktop tank w/o filter and heater?
i am looking to get a desktop tank for my office to reduce stress. Im going to be getting something small so there wont be a heater or a filter. What types of small fish can survive like this.
Also, can a snail survive like that?
Anyone who says that a Betta or a Goldfish or any type of fish can live without filtration has no clue what they are talking about. Goldfish need at least a 20 gallon tank with double filtration and a Betta needs at least a 2.5 gallon tank with a soft filter and heater.
It may sound like a cool idea to have a fish on your desk, but without proper filtration and heating if it’s a tropical fish, it won’t last long. The Nitrogen cycle plays a very very important roll in aquarium fish keeping and without any sort of filter, it usually doesn’t happen.
Why not get a little water fountain instead? If you still want to get a fish you will need to get the proper equipment and cycle the tank for 3-6 weeks prior to adding fish.
EDIT: I urge you to not listen to these people who are suggesting goldfish and bettas for what you are asking. For the sake of the fish, please. Small tanks and Goldfish should never be in the same sentence.
