Hoover Self

I have a Hoover self-propelled wind tunnel and the brush roller won’t turn.?

I have replaced both belts, but the V belt is very loose. Manual says if replaced properly, that belt should be loose, but It is VERY loose. I’m thinking maybe if I replaced the brush roller, that would work. I just don’t get it…any other suggestions or theories?? Thanks for any help.

if you already changed the belts, contact the customer service number and ask for help or a replacement
