can you use a programable thermostat on a wall heater?

I have a wall heater and would like a programable thermostat.

As the others stated, Yes. There are a few things that need to be considered though. Is it a line voltage heater, if so what current draw. Is it a Mv system as in a gas valve. Is it a 24 vac system. There are now programmable thermostats for nearly every type of heating system but you need to know the proper application.
