Canister Or Upright Vacuum For Dust Allergy Sufferer?

i have bad dust allergy and looking for a new vacuum which is best canister or upright and can you recommend one or a few that are good for the kind that you pick.

Not all Hoover uprights are the same. The Hoover “Windtunnel” with bag and Hepa filter is excellent. I feel that this vacuum traps “most” of the dust and powder anyone can have in their homes.
